The Passing Out Parade (Dikshant Parade) of the 7th batch of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Armed Reserve - Men) was held on November 21, 2024, at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate Parade Grounds, Gachibowli. ADGP (Technical Services) V.V. Srinivas Rao, IPS, Telangana State, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He inspected the parade, took the general salute, and presented awards to cadets excelling in Indoor Subjects, Outdoor Training, Firing, and All-Rounder categories. The event began with the playing of the official Telangana State song, “Jaya Jayahe Telangana”, adding a sense of pride and reverence to the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, ADGP V.V. Srinivas Rao, IPS., commended the transparent recruitment process conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), which attracted over 8 lakhs applicants for 18,000 positions. Congratulating the selected cadets, he emphasized integrity, discipline, and commitment as the foundation of effective police service. He praised the rigorous training undergone by the cadets, which prepared them to meet the challenges of law enforcement with professionalism and dedication. He also acknowledged the pivotal role of families and training staff in shaping the future of these officers.

Describing Police service as a noble and dignified profession, he urged the cadets to uphold public trust and strive for excellence in their careers. He encouraged them to work toward a crime-free society and highlighted their forthcoming responsibilities in law and order and other critical areas of policing. He congratulated the families for their unwavering support and motivation, inspiring young individuals to serve the nation. The ADGP further emphasized the importance of financial discipline and health maintenance as essential for a successful career in service.

Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty, IPS., who presided over the function, expressed gratitude to the recruitment board and training staff for their exemplary efforts. He highlighted the importance of discipline, punctuality, and professionalism in maintaining public trust, emphasizing that even a single lapse could significantly undermine the credibility of the police force. The CP encouraged the cadets to take pride in their work, remain disciplined, and continuously strive to uphold the trust placed in them by society.

CTC Principal, DCP L.C. Naik, presented a detailed report on the training period and administered the Oath of Service to the outgoing cadets. A total of 270 cadets successfully completed their nine-month Basic Induction Training at the Commissionerate Training Centre (CTC), Gachibowli. The cadets represented four districts: Karimnagar (95), Adilabad (63), Medak (56), and Khammam (56). Among them, 41 are Engineering Graduates, 8 Postgraduates, 167 Graduates, and 54 Intermediate-qualified officers.

The training program covered a comprehensive range of subjects. Indoor training included BNSS Acts, Special & Local Laws, Intelligence & Internal Security, Police Administration, Documentation, and Personality Development. Outdoor training focused on Weapon Tactics, Firing, Unarmed Combat, Squad Drill, Lathi Drill, Arms Drill, Traffic Management, Field Craft, Yoga, and Meditation.

In addition to the core curriculum, cadets participated in specialized programs designed to enhance their skills. These included Spoken English classes, sports meets to promote fitness, and workshops on life skills, health, and hygiene conducted by experienced faculty. Specialized training in self-defense tactics was also provided, including mob control and apprehending suspects with firearms or dangerous objects, equipping the cadets to face real-world challenges with professionalism and dedication.

The parade, showcasing exceptional discipline and coordination, was led by Parade Commander B. Lava kumar. The event concluded with the distribution of awards and mementos to the best-performing cadets and staff. ADGP V.V. Srinivas Rao, IPS., personally presented the awards, commending the efforts of the trainers and support teams for their dedication and hard work.

The Passing Out Parade (POP) witnessed the participation of senior officers, including Cyberabad CP Avinash Mohanty, IPS, Jt. CP Traffic D. Joel Davis, IPS, DCP Madhapur Dr. G. Vineeth, IPS, DCP Medchal Koti Reddy, IPS, DCP Shamshabad B. Rajesh, IPS, DCP Balanagar K. Suresh Kumar, IPS, DCP Rajendranagar Srinivas, IPS, DCP Crimes K. Narasimha, DCP EOW K. Prasad, DCP Women & Child Safety Srujana Karnam, IPS, Cyberabad DCP Cyber Crimes Sri Baladevi, and DCP Special Branch B. Sai Sri, along with CTC Principal L.C. Naik, ADCPs, ACPs, Inspectors, Ministerial Staff, and other dignitaries.
