Hyderabad : Students are falling prey to drugs. Instead of books, narcotic substances are now being found in their school bags. Even before completing their degrees, many are becoming addicted to drugs, throwing their future into darkness. At an age where they should be building careers, they are drowning in the abyss of addiction. In extreme cases, addicted youth are even turning violent against their own parents when questioned, forming drug-selling gangs, and engaging in heinous crimes like murder and rape under the influence of drugs.

To counter this growing menace, actor Krishnasai has taken up the responsibility of spreading awareness through short films. Responding to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s call to raise awareness on drug abuse among youth, Krishnasai has produced several promotional videos under the banner of Krishnasai Charitable Trust. One such awareness video, carrying the powerful message “O Yuvatha, Nee Gamya Etu Vipu?” (“O Youth, Where Are You Headed?”), received widespread appreciation.

At a press conference held at the Telugu Film Chamber, actor Krishnasai shared:
“Responding to CM Revanth Reddy's appeal, we have created a powerful awareness song against drug abuse. The song has received acclaim from Governors, police departments, and across social media. Just like the mandatory anti-smoking disclaimers before movies helped reduce tobacco consumption, cinema can play a key role in creating public awareness. That’s why we've incorporated the song into our upcoming film ‘Danger’, which we believe will inspire youth to choose the right path. Media support is crucial for social awareness campaigns like this, and I thank everyone for their cooperation,” he said.

Recently, actor Krishnasai acted in the anti-drug awareness video, which earned praise from several dignitaries including former Governors Tamilisai Soundararajan and Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Union Cabinet Minister Kishan Reddy, Telangana DGP Jithender, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand (IPS), Intelligence IG Sumathi, Additional DGP GHP Raju, Narcotics Bureau Chief Additional DGP Sandeep Shandilya, and many other IAS and IPS officials.
